UE5 | Ninety Days | Parking Garage

This is one of the Environments created for Quixel's 'Ninety Days' project, during which each individual artist in our team was tasked with completing as many different environment as possible, all in a timespan of 90 days.

This was probably the fastest and easiest environment of the ones I made for Ninety Days. The Megascans library had everything available for me so it was really just like building legos. The most challenging part was the lighting, from an artistic perspective. I wanted it to feel dramatic, but also mundane at the same time and I wanted the colors to feel drab and boring but at the same time a bit creepy. There was quite a bit of balancing going on to achieve those opposites. I wish I could give you a golden nugget piece of advice and say "I enabled this thing and it made it good!", but at the end of the day it was just tinkering and exploration of different lighting scenarios. What I _can_ recommend that you do in these situations is to compare A/B screenshots and see what works and what doesn't and carefully progress like that until you hit the sweet spot.

Everything for 'Ninety Days' was created using the Epic Games and Quixel Ecosystem, meaning we used Megascans, Metahumans, Sketchfab and the Epic Marketplace.

A massively heartfelt thankyou to the amazing people I get to work alongside with:
