De_Dust2, or Dust II, is an iconic map from Counter-Strike which has gone through numerous iterations. It’s one of my favourite maps in any competitive shooter of all time and I have tons of fond memories playing it with my friends at LAN parties in my teens.
My goal with this environment was to take the most recent version of Dust II from CS:GO and do my own twist on it by combining several of the iterations into something new.
This scene leveraged the Megascans library's materials, 3d assets and decals. Bridge was used to export the assets to UE4 and Mixer to create custom materials.
